The term genre is an artistic form such as a film which is split up into different categories. The different genres are action, thriller, horror, comedy, adventure etc. Nevertheless subgenres are other genres within a film but it is not the main genre. For example a movie could be an action movie but may have elements of romance; this is the subgenre of the movie.

From the poster I can see that the main genre for this film is action. What indicates this is the gun Amanda Sayfaied is holding but their eyes are on each other looking away from the audience which also indicates that there are elements of romance in this film, this is the subgenre. Because of the actors this movie is more likely to appeal to the younger generation more. The colour of chosen font is green and this could indicate money or could be futuristic.
